New this year, grab your family (including the 4 legged members) and head on down to Tuckerton Seaport to celebrate the Dogs Days of Summer on Saturday, August 10th from 11am-5pm. For one day only, dogs will have their run of the place. This festival will feature an All American Picnic, local craft beer, live music, family and pet friendly activities sponsored by the Rancocas Veterinary Associates, bobbing for tennis balls, pet portraits, and a puppy petting zoo! There will also be a chance to meet and greet different breeds of dogs looking for good families to join. We suggest not coming to this event is you are a cat person!

The Old Farmer’s Almanac lists the Dog Days as coinciding with the rising of Sirius, the Dog Star, when the Ancient Egyptians believed this star was the watchdog for the Nile’s annual flooding. While we know quite a bit about flooding here in Tuckerton, we never let the Dogs Days of Summer or flooding get in the way. Let’s celebrate the summer with a tail wagging good time.

Live Music by Jersey Grove Jersey Groove is an Ocean County based horn band providing a unique take on your favorite music. From pop and rock classics, to jazz standards, Jersey Groove caters to all music lovers. You certainly will be feeling the groove after you hear us play!

Rubber Ducky Race- Sponsor a duck for $5! All ducks will be released into the creek at 3pm. The first one to cross the finish line will win a Full Moon Sail aboard the Pohatcong II on September 14th with dessert catered by The Union Market and Gallery for the winner and 23 of his/her closest friends!
