Create a woven North African fringe, a house blessing in Egypt and Morocco, perfect for any home! New Jersey was once considered the bread basket of the American colonies with the best flouring mills in the 18th century. Because of the Industrial Revolution and changes made in harvesting methods, the art of wheat weaving was almost completely lost. Join us as folk artist Christine Metzler of Elite Wheat by Chrishelps us rediscover this once common art form that originated overseas.
